For building-materials suppliers

Heavy loads, the right crane, on site when the site is open

Cement, tiles and steel are heavy, some drops need a crane, and building sites have strict access hours. BeeRoutes plans the right truck for every load.

What makes your deliveries hard

Weight decides everything

A few pallets fill a truck's weight limit. Overloading is dangerous and expensive; underloading wastes trips.

Some deliveries need a crane

Only certain trucks can unload with a crane or tail lift — sending the wrong one means a wasted trip.

Sites have access hours

Building sites accept deliveries only at certain times, and waiting at a closed gate costs hours.

How BeeRoutes handles it

  • Weight and volume limits per truck, checked along the route
  • Vehicle features such as crane or lift: orders that need one get one
  • Site access hours per customer, respected by the optimizer
  • Photo and signature as proof of delivery on site
  • Compare plans with fewer or more trucks before you dispatch

Questions from building materials

Can we make sure crane deliveries go on the crane truck?

Yes. Give the truck the “crane” feature and the order the same requirement; the planner only assigns it to trucks that have it.

How do you handle very heavy loads?

Each product has a weight and each truck a maximum load; the planner never exceeds it and spreads heavy orders over the fleet.

Can the driver prove what was delivered on site?

Yes. Require a photo and/or the receiver's signature for that customer; both are saved with the order.
